The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of H. Dean Alderson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Gratitude

Dave and I and our children will always remember Dean and Kate Alderson.  22 years ago our family of 8 children moved from Utah into the house just south of the Alderson Farm on Hi-way 169.  We lived there for two years.  They were living in town but would come out to their farm, which is where we met them.  I remember Dean disking up our land for us so we could plant a garden.  He let us borrow an old truck he had so we could haul wood for our stove.  He let us fish in his ponds and gave us an old wheat planter.  Kate made slippers one year for all of our children and I remember her bringing lots of food to us when our baby died.  They were very kind and patient with us as we struggled to get established in MIssouri.  They were God's angels to help us and welcome us to our new area.  We are very grateful for all they did for our family!
