Laura Lucille (Nowling) Mutchler, 76, of Craig, Missouri died Monday, December 27, 2021, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Laura was born December 2, 1945, in Craig. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Isaac “Ike” and Mable (Simpson) Nowling.
Laura was a graduate of Craig High School.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd C. Mutchler, August 8, 1964, in Mound City, Missouri. Lloyd preceded her in death on December 23, 2001.
Laura was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved taking care of all her family.
Others preceding her in death were two sisters, Margaret Wells and Linda Nowling, two infant granddaughters Timisha Mutchler and Jasmine Mutchler.
Her survivors include children Pamela (Jim) Briggs, Shenandoah, Iowa, Beverly (Marvin Cooper) Longcor, Rock Port, Missouri, Brian (fiancé Brandy) Mutchler and Todd Panning, both of Craig, two brothers Jim Nowling, Oregon, Missouri, Orville “Buck”(Valerie) Nowling, Battle Creek, Michigan, special sister Kathy Farnan, Clearmont, Missouri, grandchildren Marc Longcor, Jimmy Briggs, Mitchell (Samantha) Longcor, Melanie (Kyle) Greelis, Jennifer Longcor, Chantel, Branden, Ryley and Nova Mutchler, six great grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, January 3, 2022, at the First Christian Church, Mound City, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Schooler Funeral Home, Fairfax, Missouri.
Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Craig, Missouri.
