As her children moved on, Mary worked full time at Warden's as owner, office and sales staff manager, buyer, bookkeeper and inventory
and marketing supervisor until the business was sold and she retired with husband, Paul.
Mary came out of retirement to manage the Smoky Hill Museum Gift Shop for a few years.

Mary was an active member of PEO, Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Peacemakers Class. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed retirement, golf, travel, grandchildren and her great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul, 2011.

Mary is survived by her sons, Greg (Sue) Warden, Hamburg, IA and Doug (Donna) Warden, Warrensburg, MO. She leaves grandchildren, Kara Witter, Lindsey, Blaine, Erin, Joel and Renee Warden and one great granddaughter, Aeliayah Witter.
