Ronald was born on September 26, 1954, in Martinsville, Virginia. He was the son of the late Coy and Josie (Virus) Nester.
He was united in marriage to Elizabeth A. (Turner) on April 13, 1974 in Eden, North Carolina. She survives him of the home.
Ronald was a truckdriver. Before retiring he had worked for Scott Melvin and Dart Trucking.
Ronald was a United States Army Veteran serving his country in the Vietnam War.
His survivors include wife, Elizabeth, five children, Virginia Mae, Melinda Ann, Heather Lee, Lloyd and Tayna, and a host of other friends and loved ones.
Mr. Nester's body has been cremated. There will be no formal services held.
