Obituary for Rosemary Stephenson (Arnold)

Rosemary Stephenson, age 90, Grant City, Missouri died Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the Worth County Convalescent and Rehab Center in Grant City.
Rosemary was born October 22, 1931, in Worth County, Missouri daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby (Richards) Arnold.
Rosemary was a graduate of Grant City High School, Class of 1950.
She was united in marriage to John V. Stephenson on December 17, 1950, in Greenfield, Iowa by her uncle, Reverend Frank Jacobs. To this union two boys were born Ronald and William.
Rosemary had worked as a salesclerk for the former Pixie Shop and Art Shop, in Grant City.
Rosie was a faithful member of the Allendale Baptist Church, Allendale, Missouri. While her health permitted, she was active in all church activities such as choir, Sunday school, bible studies and church fellowships.
Rosemary had a love of music which started early in her childhood. Other favorite pastimes she enjoyed were spending time with her family both individually and at family dinners. She also loved gardening with her husband J.V., enjoying gathering both various flowers and produce which they raised. Rosemary enjoyed being in the kitchen both baking and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband J.V. (October 15, 2013), a brother Jimmy Arnold and a sister Norita Gage.
Survivors include sons Ron Stephenson, Bill (Teena) Stephenson, both of Grant City, grandchildren Valerie (Bradie) DeMott and B.J. (Destiny) Stephenson, great grandchildren Jake Simmons, Jared (Breann) Simmons, Peyton and Kaine Stephenson, a special niece Cynthia (Lane) Shanks, Stanberry, Missouri, sister-in-laws Barbara Stephenson, Grant City and Myrna Stephenson, Albany, Missouri, and a host of other friends and loved ones.
Per her wishes Mrs. Stephenson has been cremated under the care of the Andrews-Hann Funeral Home, Grant City. A private family graveside service will be held later.
